[APPROVED] OIP3 - OCP Token Experiment Proposal

These are valid points, having a clarity will get us lined up right together.

The OCP protocol recognizes and rewards active users and contributors. Anyone who participated in marketing efforts or protocol activities like staking has received tokens as part of the distribution.

To clarify, this process does not dilute anyone’s holdings. If you still hold your OPEN tokens (assuming they haven’t been sold), your balance remains unchanged. Please avoid spreading misinformation about dilution.

Currently, OCP functions as a loyalty token, and any active stakeholder should have already received their OCP tokens.

Voting will defineteively show the feeling within the community.

If the idea is for OCP to become the main token, I don’t think it’s right. In the end, our investment was made in OPEN. In fact, many of us have sold our OCP. I believe it’s good to give it value, but not at the expense of harming OPEN. I think the project’s goal should be to make OPEN bigger. Shifting focus away from OPEN would be, once again, a drastic change in strategy that would harm the token.

What is the threshold for the proposal please? 50% approval or 75%?

What’s the update on this experiment? Question is how do you create value for Open Custody Protocol token by using it to buy OCP token. From my understanding reducing the amount of token supply and circulation inflates value. Can you please shed some light on how this move is expected to create value for open custody protocol by using its token to purchase a separate token? How does this support the deflation of open custody protocols supply? and what’s the progress so far on this experiment?
